I have been working as a dance/movement therapist and counselor for the past twelve years. Currently, I work in an Addictions Treatment Center on the west side of Chicago and have a private practice.

I started this blog to process the multi-layered nature of my experience in this work and to hopefully touch upon universal themes to which others can relate. I am continually moved by the ways this work invites me to be with my humanness. None of us has all the answers (no matter how many degrees we have!) but at times we can be profound gifts to each other.
